Saturday

I didn’t take photos today as I vacuumed, washed floors, cleaned bathrooms, worked in the garden, hoses out the garage, pickled peppers, or did laundry. Ordinary Saturday chores were my happy place today just as frolicking in the woods made the pups happy. Compared to sitting at a desk or in my car all week, a day in motion is good for both body and soul.

Chuck mowed and cleaned pond banks, glad too for a little cooler temperatures than last week. Farm weekends may sound boring or laborious to some, but to us, they are a blessing we truly treasure.
