Fall Air

As the air cools in the evenings, the garden winds down and the pups are happy. The routine of the school year means a bit more traffic on my commute and football games for friends with kids. The seasons turn ever faster it seems.

Our peach trees did not produce this year but the kid’s tree did. So, as their routine changes with the fall temperatures and they return back to work, I rustled up a peach cobbler, warm with cinnamon to welcome them home from their first day back and baby’s first day at school.

I’m glad for this season of the year and this season of life. As the kids build homes filled with love and optimism. We are blessed for certain.
