Silly worry

This afternoon was a perfect walk in the woods opportunity to look at the leaves and enjoy the cooler air. As Chuck identified trees the pups put noses to the ground and disappeared into the forest. A couple hours later we’d been back at the house but no pups in sight so I pedaled down to call for them but they were nowhere to be found. (We do have miles of woods after all.)

Sure thing they turned up back at the house before dark. Happy, panting and one with a muddy nose. Not sure what adventure they had but they seem to have enjoyed it! And, at least they didn’t return skunk scented. They’re glad for dinner time tonight!
