Merry Christmas

It’s a soggy Christmas Eve so the lights in Crane were pretty and had a little extra twinkle as I drove home tonight. It’ was worth the little detour as I headed home to the youngsters. You d dogs, that is… 9 month old pups who on a day like today are 90+ pounds of wet and mud.

The kids and grandkids are scattered far and wide but we will talk to them tomorrow, wishing they were at the farm instead. It has been a busy year for everyone. Oldest granddaughter is married and last of oldest batch of grandkids will finish high school this coming summer. Our family’s newest grandbaby is nearly sitting up and might be walking by the time those big kids graduate. As for us, we just hope we will get to see as many of the kids and their families as we can in 2025!
