Curious Thoughts

Cold water plunge in flat Creek on Saturday, left us feeling invigorated and also made me feel a little bit wimpy. I’ve never been a cold water fan but I’m always game for something that’s supposed to help us stay fit and active. If cold plunging is a passing fad at least we didn’t buy a tub as the creek works just fine.

Then, today we spent some time with Chuck’s aunt and uncle in their family farmhouse. I asked why there were exterior doors into two different rooms from the front porch. They didn’t know for sure but for a house that’s more than a hundred years old and still in good shape. I suppose that dual but separate front doors was a passing fad! But, spending quality time with family is timeless and precious!
