Not how we expected to start the new year. Looking for a missing pup and consoling his brother. When we got the boys we picked a pair on purpose so they’d have each other and we lived their togetherness. We were not expecting it to be interrupted before they turned ten months old. i did not know that would be the last photo I might snap of them together. I’m heartbroken.

Our goofy sidekick didn’t come home with his brother yesterday and we know something bad happened by how our alpha dog is acting. Our attention doesn’t make up for the gap but we are trying to console our big tough nut pup. Sometimes farm freedom is great and sometimes it’s just plain dangerous. Hard way to start the year at D6:18. Hours of searching to no avail but we will keep praying our boy just got lost and will find his way home.
