Real food

This week I bought seeds anticipating some winter sowing and eager for new growth and spring buds. I’ve been avoiding processed food and eliminated sugar from my diet. Real good tastes better and I’m getting past the sugar cravings.

We have greenhouse and canning plans in mind for the future. Sadly , our food system has stripped nutrients from nearly everything or at very least sprayed toxins on top of them. As we think how to adjust our farm crop the east answer is chemical sprays to kill unwanted cover but I don’t want that junk in my water supply or robbing the microbes out of our soil.

Each day that passes I feel healthier and my resolve for back to basics food grows. I’m glad our water is mineral rich and fluoride-free. I’m grateful for sunshine and fresh air and hope to get more time to enjoy both one of these days.
