Poof

Just yesterday she was clomping around the house in a princess dress and plastic heels, then splashing in the mud and turning cartwheels before she moved to Tennessee at 18 and became a true world traveler. In an instant, a decade has passed and she’s got a new journey in mind with her decade long ‘guy by her side.’. I was thinking about January on the farm and how quickly it passed by, then my baby girl’s news made me realize the whole world is spinning fast these days. Grandbaby is sitting up now and big grandkids are planning on joining the military this summer. The circle of life and dance of blended families means we get to share in joys and journeys. I’m excited for my baby girl even as our newest pukunui is just learning to crawl. This Mana and Nana heart is sure happy as winter winds it’s way through the Ozarks.
