Work Ethic

We had a new crew mowing, raking and baking hay this week. Charlie finished raking as I got home. He’s 12 and his crew mates were both 16. He shook my hand and said , “Yes Ma’am” to every question I asked him. They didn’t tear up our yard or leave rita in the fields. They were pros at their craft, working hard for the man who hired them and trusted them with $400k worth of heavy equipment with no supervision.

I love hillbilly kids! They work hard and cause zero drama. One of the boys has been driving tractors since he was seven and their expertise speaks for itself.

The bakes are tight. They cut no corners, and we’re already planning the 18 mile journey to move the equipment to the next job 19 miles away when they finish our work tomorrow. Thanks Tristan, Aiden and Charlie! You are professional hillbilly farmers and you do great work!
