Just in Time

I’ve been either busy or procrastinating when it came to getting my garlic in the dirt before winter. Finally, with Chuck’s help the garden is filled and prepped and new bed in place for next year’s garlic crop. The temperature dropped to well below freezing last night so it was just in time to put them in ahead of freezing.

The garden is part of my farm dream, a part I never yet seem to have enough time to dedicate to. This Spring we have a number of things on the calendar that may impact our ability to do it up right but we hope to shift to raised beds and make the most of the right soil we’ve been nurturing there over the past few years. There’s nothing better than homegrown goodies, free of chemical nonsense and poisons.
