Thankful

What joy as a toddler to explore without worry of cars whizzing by or lurking dangers. . Thanksgiving brought one of our 10 grandkids to visit and I think it’s a toss up as to who had more fun… her, the pup or us oldies! When your kids are small, life is exhausting but in our season of life those busy little hands and feet bring such happiness to our hearts.

The kids got to sleep in and I soaked up every giggle and babble with joy. We took her out crunching through the leaves and exploring. Meanwhile our boy made sure she was safe and sound each step of the way.

She’s too small to remember this holiday visit but we aren’t.. For us, it’s a reminder of when all the other kids and grandkids were small that we will forever be thankful for.
