Who will train whom?
We acquired a couple farm boys and after a deep clean and tick wash they’re settling in at the farm. We already adore their smiley faces and they’re quick learners but not yet good listeners.
They’re eager to please. And they’re hot on sunny summer afternoons. As I create routines and structure they’re also having to learn to flex with Chuck as he leaves them snoozing on the porch not concerned about an hour later when the chickens may wander up. Rooster herds the girls away but I spend time each evening hanging near the chickens with the boys with me, working on calm and connection.
Time will tell who is training whom but so far I think we are all learning some new tricks.
