Evening

Our happy place each evening is outside with the critters, chatting about our respective days. Were the pups rambunctious? Are all the chickens accounted for? The fresh air is always a relief to me after 12 hours in climate controlled air and the break welcome for Chuck. Like brushing your kids’ hair when they’re small, brushing burrs out of the dogs’ fur is a chore that pays off in quality time as we all unwind and relax together.
