Wintery Woods

It was a n easy call as we decided where to go walking in the woods today. I was curious to see if the waterfall was frozen so we headed to the western edge of the farm. Sure enough we saw evidence of recent cold temperatures. Places where water seeps from the ledges were frozen solid with multiple layers of icicles.

But, when we reached the tall falls, the water was flowing just right for Otto to take a big cold drink . The temperatures decreased as we headed back home which made it easy to pick a cabbage roll comfort dish meal for dinner tonight.
