An new year begins and my heart is full after spending a couple of days with my Hintz kiddos under one roof. As your kids grow up and spread their wings in different states, gathering gets more complicated but also is more rewarding.

The past year included fence building for one and rebuilding for the other. But for a couple of days this week, all that mattered was relaxing together and spending time with the Brown family at Simone’s home.

Years from now, we won’t remember what game we played or what we ate but we will remember that we had a chance to visit and laugh and just be happy in each other’s company.

We spoke of meeting to ski in Colorado or a family float trip and the farm. Who knows what the coming months will actually bring but there’s one thing for sure, we will love every minute we get to spend together next time the opportunity comes. Happy 2023 all!
