Cousins

I didn’t grow up with cousins around, but Chuck did. He has lots of cousins on both sides of his family and we love spending time with them. Yesterday was one of those days. We shared dinner and hiked to see the river and a cool rock formation.

The next generation of cousins was having fun too! Barefoot, faces sticky with s’mores and clothes wet from the river, they were full of stories and fun. Andrew had shot, skinned and sautéed frog legs this week and the boys showed us a baby catfish & crawdad they’d caught in the river. This is the kind of bonding that sticks for life!
