Kids in the kitchen, kids around the table. Hiking the woods and taking aim at life. This is the first Thanksgiving we have spent together in many years. And, this year we added a new face and faraway family to the table. My heart was full! After many weeks traveling for work and other commitments, I was finally home and with my grown kids visiting I was beyond happy.

We explored the woods, laughed, ate, and looked through old photo albums as we shared old family stories. It was my niece’s first visit to the US and she was a big part of our thankful this Thanksgiving! It was fun sharing traditions with her and with my boy’s sweet girlfriend too. Blessings abound!
