Life on the farm is always about learning. Learning to work with the wood that we have harvested and create cool, and interesting things. Learning to bake sourdough bread. Applying online tips and a healthy dose of trial and error can be frustrating at times, but in the end every lesson is important even when outcomes might flop. We have eaten some pretty dense loaves of bread this week, and Chuck has mixed up batches of epoxy in the shop.

Eventually, we will find the right recipes for each situation. Isn’t that how life goes? The seemingly easy is often difficult, and sometimes success is elusive. But, when you are doing what you love, the journey is sweet especially when shared with others.
