It was a day of picking up sticks around the yard, updating farm bookwork, washing the floors, baking bread, and other typical Saturday chores. I love blue sky farm days especially when I don’t have to leave the red gate, even if it’s a bit chilly. It was a wonderful farm Saturday and an equally blessed Sunday. Although we have still not settled on a church home, we went to worship at a church we’ve been visiting, and Chuck made wings while I pedaled with Katie; talking sourdough tips, garden plans and other tidbits of life. A bonfire or warm shower after a pedal… I was grateful for the warm reminders of friendship and farm life this weekend.
