Green acres

The trees are green now and mowing season has begun. The roadside daisies and tiger lilies I transplanted from have come back nicely. Berry bushes, some from the nursery, and some from the woods are loving, the sunshine and warmer temperatures.

It’s a perfect time of year here. Not too hot or humid or cold. It seems like the woods turned green and two days flat, but the sycamores have not quite yet got their leaves. The evenings are still a little chilly, and the wind a little brisk at times.

This is our 7th spring on the farm and we love it more with each passing year.
