Earlier this week, the skies looked crazy at the farm, which seemed a little symbolic since it is a week of change.

My team at Work supplied me with ducks and elderberry trees to add to our menagerie at the farm. And, this morning as I woke up Work thoughts popped into my mind and then my thinking quickly shifted. My that’s changed to all of the organization and things that need to happen as we head out to Tennessee for my girl’s wedding. I was thinking about all the things we needed to tell our farm sitter, the things I need to pack and take, and the excitement and fun of spending time with family from New Zealand that I haven’t seen in far too long. While I certainly will miss the wonderful people that I’ve got to spend 10 hours a day with for many many years now, I’m excited for a season of fresh air, family time and the chance to still see those friends but here with a glass of tea looking at the green.
