Winter on the farm
Winters in the Midwest are unpredictable. One week it might be ice and snow, the next rainy, the next very temperate.
One thing I miss in the winter is that we don’t see our farmer quite so often. There’s not the usual activity of tractors and equipment coming and going across the property. But in the quiet of winter, there’s time for making bread and breaking bread with friends. It has taken us three years in the house for me to get my big farm table made but finally it is here (and I love it!) and we are enjoying already the time we get to spend around it with those we cherish.
