Cow tales

The cow left the stable and returned to steal the show during the kids’ Christmas play today. The kids did a great job sharing the Christmas story and it was a perfect way to start a Sunday in December. The best part was spending that hour with Liam. It’s a treat to have him here for the holidays.

The rest of the day included sunshine and a pedal with Katie. It was less frosty ride than the one I rode yesterday with Chuck; just perfect for Sunday and catching up with my friend. We chatted about the holidays and new year dreams and plans.

Weekends pass quickly but days like today remind me why I love country life with Sunday worship, wholesome family life, cherished friends, and sun drenched countryside to explore.
