Sunday Funday

Every Sunday morning we head out for a walk and Otto botto likes to lead the way. Today, we had time to trek to the far woods and enjoy a mild winter morning.

I am not a fan of grey skies but wintertime woods are tick free and that’s a bonus for me! We checked out the fungi and Chuck found more trees he’d like to trim. Imagine that!

The property is looking tidy thanks to Chuck’s work to wrangle leaves and burn debris piles. We’re planning for this year’s garden and contemplating adding some chickens to D619, but I’m not so sure Otto wouldn’t think we were providing him with feathered sushi or poultry tartar!
