Giraffe

I was watching a nature show on Saturday when they showed giraffes. Instantly, my dear friend who lives in Alberta Canada came to mind. She has traveled the world and sparked that same travel bug in once upon a time.

I’m not sure if we will ever get to Africa to see our giraffes that we dreamed of decades ago, but it’s fun for a moment to think that we might! And it’s a blessing to remind her that I think of her often despite the miles and years between us.
