Dirt

It is the time of year when my husband who loves green, for a little while, loves dirt, even more. The grass gets some TLC, in the form of topsoil, over seeding, and who knows what else. Maybe he just likes driving the tractor! Seriously though I don’t think I’ve ever known a person to love green and grass as much as he does and that makes a day like today is a labor of love.

It was a labor of love for the yard, and for me too, as he prepped the garden for planting. Fresh topsoil, weeds, pulled, and we can now begin the fun of putting seeds in the ground, getting seedlings moved over, and start the spring time and summertime watering routine. The berry vines are already looking fine, and I can’t wait to see what they will produce this year.
